BCom/Accounting/equivalent Graduate – Aviation – Cpt

A Graduate is needed to help the operations and financial departments of our aviation client, which is based outside of Durbanville.

• The company is now considering an expansion in addition to its ongoing operations, therefore the chosen candidate will also get significant experience in property development.

Help the general manager by providing:

• Billing and other financial month-end procedures
• Debtor recovery
• timetables for payments to be made
• Bookkeeping
• financial reporting basics
• balance sheet balancing
• Managing tenants and leases
• Property analysis and research
• Interact with both present and potential tenants
• Suppliers, consultants, and general/website inquiries may contact this person.
• Ad-hoc tasks related to business, aviation, or property development

desired qualifications and experience

Hard abilities needed:

• a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, property studies, or
• Accounting degree plus related work experience
• proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Driving Permit
• strong mathematical skills
• speaking English

Required soft skills/traits:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, especially considering the supportive and interactive character of the position.
• ambitious and eager to advance the business
• Adaptable and cooperative
• proactive and able to function on their own
• speaks clearly (verbal and written)
• Organized with strong attention to detail

The chosen candidate will benefit if they:

• speaks Afrikaans as well as English
• Aviation expertise or interest
• possesses superior MS Excel skills
• possesses Xero experience

Package and Compensation

• depending on qualifications and expertise, R15,000 to R25,000 per month.
• Payment for transportation costs between the headquarters (Salt River) and the airport (Durbanville)
