An opening for a trainee/qualified technician-technologist is currently available at SANBS. The incumbent will be in charge of carrying out routine testing duties in the blood bank, including but not limited to examinations into compatibility, postnatal, and early transfusion reactions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas:
Fulfill operational goals and targets locally.
Reach instrument and laboratory maintenance goals in line with SOP requirements.
Obtain quality compliance in line with SOP requirements.
Verify that general duties have been completed within the allotted time. Specifications for the Position:
additional hours as needed
weekend and evening shifts as listed on the roster
sporadic local and international travel
general physical fitness, adequate stamina, and decent mobility
Detailed oriented with good vision
Individuals must have access to reliable transportation
