The Central University of Technology, Free State (CUT) accepts online applications for prospective students. The online application system can be accessed through the CUT website.

Follow these steps to apply online:

Step 1: You can sign up for the online application system by clicking the “New Application” button on the CUT website’s homepage.

Step 2: Complete the application with all of the information required. Upload certified copies of your identity documents and academic records.

Step 3: Submit your application after completing all required fields and uploading all required documents.

Step 4: The application fee, which cannot be refunded, can be paid in one of the following ways:

• Online payment via the CUT website
• Direct deposit at a CUT-approved bank
• EFT payment using the CUT banking details provided

Note: International applicants cannot receive a refund for the R500 application fee.

Step 5: After submitting your application and paying the fee, you can check on its status on the CUT online application system. The university will also inform you of your application status through the online application system.

Important details to keep in mind:

• South African candidates should pay R100 for their application.
  The application fee for international applicants is R500.
  Applications for 2023 are open from April 1 to September 30 in 2022.
  Late applications will not be considered.
  It is recommended that applicants only submit applications for two study options.
  CUT will not be held responsible for applicants’ inaccurate information.
  Those who are accepted into CUT will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit in order to guarantee their place in the university.
