Duties & Responsibilities

Need at least five years of experience for the position
accountable for researching, compiling, and allocating expenditures related to the cement industry.
preparing and assessing the company budgets, feasibility studies, and monthly financial statements.
The company uses SAP HANA soon and adheres to conventional costing practices to manage costs.

Responsibilities

Property, Plant, and Equipment: Providing monthly and annual depreciation while maintaining a fixed asset register.
arranging the annual asset count.
reconciliation of the plant’s and the headquarters’ petty cash
the process of preparing bank reconciliations for all accounts
Calculating the monthly interest for both long and short-term loans, as well as creating monthly loan reconciliations.
creating, analyzing, and tracking monthly financial reports as well as operational performance KPIs for working capital
preparing, reviewing, and analyzing all accounting accruals, outstanding debtors, and creditors, as well as guaranteeing the
correctness of monthly financial reporting
arranging for the regular physical inventory counts
Reviewing the budget and forecast
carrying out feasibility studies in accordance with the management’s guidelines for Cemza
providing the directors and stakeholders with financial reporting

Financial Acumen

ability to post general accounting transactions and entries on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
ability to compile and analyze reports effectively on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, and to recommend remedial actions to management
Accounting for cost center expenses by submitting transactions for real and accrued costs in accordance with the budget
