The SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR will be in charge of helping to develop the legal function both domestically and internationally.

Strong agreement-drafting skills are essential, and 3–4 years of post-article experience in the commercial department of a law firm is required.

The primary focus of the role will be to offer legal assistance to the group regarding legal and regulatory matters arising from local and international operations. Working with other business functions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team within the group as a whole is a KEY ASPECT of this role.

THE SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR IS REQUIRED TO HELP DRIVER COMMERCIAL LEGAL WORK WHEN DEALING WITH PARTNERS LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY, ASSIST WITH LEGAL AND REGULATORY SETUP IN INTERNATIONAL JURISDICTIONS, AND ASSIST WITH CLIENT FACING LEGAL REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS PRODUCT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Senior Legal Advisor will be a member of the legal team, which takes pleasure in providing the business with quality legal work and advice that allows it to innovate and disrupt while still maintaining its status as a vital team member and trusted legal advisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assure effective management of the group’s legal and regulatory stance in all situations when legal disputes or regulatory difficulties emerge.

Describe the risks involved in the proposed transactions, projects, and activities that the company plans to carry out. whenever you can, reduce your risks. Give legal counsel to all parties involved in the business. create and analyze commercial agreements, such as service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other commercial partnership agreements, between-group entities, and outside parties.
Create and revise terms and conditions for group items that are aimed at customers.
As needed, provide assistance with policy writing to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Give company advice on appropriate legal and regulatory design and the creation of new products on a local and global scale.
Keeping abreast of local regulations that have an impact on operations locally and informing businesses of any adjustments needed
As needed in offshore jurisdictions, communicate with, brief, and supervise external counsel.
Become knowledgeable about the laws and rules of other countries that may be relevant to the group’s growth and product line in the specific jurisdiction.
liaise with national and international regulatory bodies.help new group entities become established in offshore countries.
assist in acquiring the necessary authorizations and licenses in offshore countries.
