Introduction

Our client, who is in the Engineering Industry is looking to employ a Draughtsman /Mechanical Engineer to join their organization in Honeydew.

Duties & Responsibilities

responsible for the technical design of the department’s plants in accordance with the needs of the customers
Set priorities and control labor hours to stay under budget Participate in internal idea and design evaluations
excellent customer service for both internal and external clients (response time, flexibility, TOP Values)
Layout and assembly plans are made, and project-specific detailed designs are developed.
creating technical documentation for manufacture and procurement, such as process diagrams, auxiliary designs, and specifications, in accordance with Buhler engineering standards.
Prepare all necessary purchase order specifications for the relevant scope of work for the project.
creates the installation notes and paperwork required for the installation and commissioning process.

Desired Experience & Qualification

higher education in technology (Technical College)
N6 Drafting Academy or equivalent Mechanical Drawing (MDDOP)
CAD and MS Office proficiency (3D & 2D CAD, AutoCAD, Architectural, Bentley AutoPlant, Piping & Pro Steel)
3 years as an engineer a minimum, or evidence of sufficient abilities
knowledge of manufacturing concepts
the Red Seal of Approval (Non-Negotiable)
Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman Qualification

Package & Remuneration

Annual CTC, Medical Aid, Provident, and Company 7 percent: R400 000 to R450 000
