Our client is looking for a GCC Mine Engineer with experience in opencast mining to work in Gauteng.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

GCC Government Certificate of Competency in Mines and Works (non-negotiable)
BSc Degree or National Diploma in Engineering
5+ years of mining industry experience, at least 1 year in an Open Cast Mine Machinery context, and beneficiation plant experience are required.
5+ years of managerial experience and leading a team of Medically Fit Engineers
Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling for at least two years prior to appointment as a responsible engineer (Reg 2.13.1 as well as MHSA section 7(4)
Proven track record of MHSA compliance and strong leadership abilities
Hydraulics knowledge
Experience in electronics or electrical engineering would be a big plus.
