Market Access Horticulture – Intern (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Duties & Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Facilitate the creation of services related to residue management that will support market access.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Plan the creation of the Resiyou model for Grapes.

Coordinate grower residue profiles for export crops such as citrus, flowers, and grapes.
Keep up-to-date a database on the specifications for market access to important export markets for grapes, citrus, and flowers.
Encourage benchmarking of retailer specifications
Coordinate projects for managing resistance to important indicators. Alternaria, Tuta, Botrytis, and Oomycetes

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

Agricultural economy degree
Possibly pursuing a postgraduate degree in business or agriculture at the moment.
The capacity to use complex data to comprehend market patterns and foresee future requirements.
Capability to create and implement distinctive strategies based on unique and compelling answers to client needs.
Ability to establish internal and external alliances and collaborate and communicate with others,
The capacity to successfully operate in both commercial and small-scale farmer marketplaces
MS Office proficient
