Job Introduction

Human Resources / Recruitment Administrator – Kwazulu Natal

SPECIFICATION An HR / Recruitment Administrator is needed for a family grocery supermarket chain. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage all Industrial Relations processes and risks related to performance management, disciplinary procedures, and grievance procedures.
    Workplace Relations. (CCMA, Disciplinary Hearings, Grievances, and so on.)
    Assist with Statutory Returns (EEA, SDL, WCC, and so on).
    Ensures that the relevant employment, employment equity, and skills development laws are followed and implemented.
    Maintain relationships with the appropriate SETA.
    In charge of the Provident Fund and Medical Aid.
    Ascertain that all leave is handled properly.
    Manage all of the company’s employee benefits.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection of new employees.
    Contribute to all training and development initiatives.
    Prepare job offer documentation, employment contracts, and job descriptions.
    Maintain and update personnel records.
    Policy and procedure development
    SOPs are standard operating procedures. Formulation
    Create and update HR policies, as well as train employees on them.
    Create, update, and implement the organization’s induction programs.
    Counsel employees who require confidential assistance in business matters.
  • Keep up to date on all labor laws and the changing needs of the employer and its employees.
    Assist in the development and implementation of overall human resource strategies and initiatives to meet current and future business needs.

    Keeping HR documents on file.
    Administration of leave and management of the time and attendance system

Job Description

  • A degree or diploma in human resource management is required.
    A minimum of five years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist in an HR team, preferably in the retail industry.
    Knowledge of current laws is required.
    Working knowledge of the most recent Microsoft software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    Working knowledge of Employment Law and CCMA proceedings.

Monthly Salary

  • R20,000 – R20,000 per month
