  • ERRATUM: INVESTIGATIVE DIRECTORATE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INDEPENDENT POLICE: Please take note that the position of Director: Communication and Marketing, reference number Q9/2021/43, was published in the Public Service Vacancy Circular on July 30, 2021, with an application deadline of August 16, 2021. Applicants for the position have been told that successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Program, as endorsed by the National School of Government, will be a condition for an appointment at the SMS level. This is a public-sector-specific training curriculum that will be suitable for SMS-level appointments. If an individual has successfully completed a Public Service Senior Management Leadership Programme, they may be eligible for employment at the SMS level as of April 1, 2020.
  • Shortlisted candidates should be reminded that they must present proof of registration for the Pre-entry Certificate, which can be found at https://www.thensg.gov.za/trainingcourse/sms-pre-entry-programme. Prior to taking up the position, the appointee must have completed the pre-entry certificate and be in possession of it.
