Duties & Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create a three-year IT strategy and budget plan that is in line with the overarching business strategy.
- Manage the ICT Department, which entails creating the department’s business plan and overseeing employee performance;
- Manage the organization’s ICT infrastructure and assets; offer ICT support to all departments and the EXCO; oversee and participate in ICT-related procurement procedures; develop, implement, and keep an eye on the ICT Risk register; and create, implement, and maintain legal-compliant policies.
- Make that Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Services are created, implemented, and maintained.
- Planning, allocating, and monitoring the budget in accordance with strategic goals and ensuring adherence to pertinent policies
- collaboration with both internal and external auditors, as well as response to audit findings;

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as at least seven years of experience working in an ICT setting, five of which should have been spent implementing ICT projects. Experience with the DPSA’s ICT governance framework and regulations will be helpful.
