• Keep scorecards and BEE ratings for each supplier.
• Study the available ways to determine the necessary amounts, then place orders.
• Verify and monitor each day’s local purchase orders.
• Keep customers informed if an order is running late or if there are any delivery issues.
• Place orders for all non-stock items, including packaging, cleaning supplies, PPE equipment, and uniforms.
• Receiving products when they come. Verify the received goods are accurate.
• The Senior Buyer must approve each order.  Meet with vendors to discuss the optimal combination of pricing and quality.  Outside Manufacturing
• Keep an eye on and maintain adequate stock levels (ROL) of products that need anodizing and powder coating.
• Plan out all anodizing and powder coating.
• Written evidence that the provider received the order
• Maintain regular order tracking and communication with all pertinent parties and departments.
• Check the number and quality of the goods you received. Job Stock Observation
• Control reorder levels (ROL) and notify the Senior Buyer and WH & Stock Controller of any deviations.
• Verify quantities on the computer (system) and request stock counts from the warehouse and stock controller, or, if necessary, do your own stock counts.
