ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Purpose:
- To consistently increase Meltshop 3’s effectiveness, providing Electrical maintenance knowledge on a day shift basis. Cause-and-effect analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- statistical data on electrical failures, and Use condition monitoring to foretell failure.
Investigate ways to improve electrical equipment.
Create plant layouts, start projects, and oversee projects.
Analyze electricity costs and projects that were finished on time and on budget.
All electrical costs have been calculated and are within budget.
Process improvement was above objective, and plant output increased.
Failure to solve the problem is tested and the best logical solution is used.
Any operations and maintenance reports should be verbally communicated clearly.
Informing managers and other staff members about maintenance schedules and actions.
Inform others of all electrical maintenance activities.
Identification of high electrical dangers and delay prevention
Reduced and taken into account downtime.
Projects are commissioned and a new design is used.
Completed, filed, and delivered with all necessary documentation.
The database has been uploaded with all electrical-related information.
Qualification Requirements:
- Trade Test – Essential
- N6 – Electrical required
Experience & Skills Required:
- a minimum of five years of electrical technician experience
- possess expertise in electrics, PLCs, and instruments.
- Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and succinct manner.
- Must be able to finish duties promptly, precisely, and systematically.
- high levels of integrity and dependability are required.
- Excellent ability to solve problems.
- knowledge of using power and hand tools, soldering, and fault-testing tools
- Experience in project management of at least two years
