Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all engineering work to ensure the smooth operation of operations, shafts, and surface infrastructure.
  Engineering risk management in the business world
  Implement the fatal risk protocol and related guidelines in accordance with the zero harm strategy.
  Maintain the equipment to the required standards.
  Ensure that operating and maintenance procedures are in place and followed in order to ensure the competence of all engineering and operational personnel for the equipment and structures used.
  Keep an eye on the output of all equipment (trends analysis and rectifying deviations)
• Implement the design and re-design of systems with chronic failures to ensure business growth.
  Ensure alignment with the Group Engineering Strategy, as well as strategy implementation and roll-out.
  Assist operational teams with the application and upkeep of mechanization and automation machinery fleets.
  Liaise with the mechanization and automation strategy’s strategic intent.
  Make certain that all engineering systems are established, standardized, integrated, and implemented across all operations.
  Continuously implement innovative or ground-breaking projects
  Create a motivated and unified performance-driven team capable of meeting the group’s future needs.
