Introduction

  • A prestigious global financial service firm in the investment industry is looking for a highly capable senior Fund Administrator and experienced people manager to take responsibility and oversight for a team of Fund Administrators operating from different locations and across jurisdictions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining oversight of the team portfolio’s day-to-day operations and ensuring that all team members respond to client inquiries in a timely manner;
    Assuring the highest level of client service delivery, meeting deadlines, and adhering to all relevant procedures;
    When necessary, reviewing transaction documentation
    Review of the team’s secretarial and administrative work as needed;
    Providing technical assistance to the team;
    Support with on-boarding of new investors/clients for the AML process;
  • Adherence to all operational frameworks should be actively embedded.
    Attendance at client board meetings as needed, and supervision of the subsequent drafting of complex minutes;
    Determine team training requirements and schedule training sessions as needed.
    Where necessary, taking the lead on internal projects;
    Payments, transactions, CoSec, Corp Gov, Board packs, client & investor communications, billing, AML/DD/KYC, reviews, FATCA, and CRS are some of the team’s general daily tasks.
    Ensure that the team structure is appropriate and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and agreed upon;

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • A minimum of 5 years of trust or fund administration experience is required.
    Qualifications in professional governance, such as ICSA, CSQS, CSSA, or equivalent, are strongly preferred.
    Legal qualifications, such as an LLB, are preferred.
    Experience in management:
    Knowledge of offshore regulatory requirements; Excellent administrative skills; Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; Impeccable written and oral communication skills; High level of integrity and trust with confidential information; Excellent organizational and prioritization skills;
