Site Manager (Mining Explosives – UG)
- Manage the mine sites in charge of the Eastern Limb Region’s underground mining activities’ reliable and secure supply of explosives, blasting operations, and related services.
- Give the site team direction.
- Encourage and prod employees to work safely and effectively.
- Organizing and managing the raw resources on-site during production.
- management of the workforce and equipment.
- Give technical guidance on blasting materials, equipment, and performance.
- control costs and manage resources
- Compile blast reports and keep track of emulsion fleet efficiency.
- investigation of occurrences and handling of labor issues.
- Control daily silo stock levels and make improvements Blasting tons.
- Address operational client needs while also providing staff training.
- IMS system administration.
- designated by law to the location.
- Grade 12(Must)
- BSc/B Degree in Mining Engineering (must)
- Underground Blasting or Rock Breaking Certificate (must)
- Drivers license (must)
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in underground mining of at least five years is required.
3 to 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience (Shift boss or Mine Overseer)
Very good computer skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP) (Must)
