My Nsfas Account 2024-2025

New candidates applying for financial aid,  must first open an account in other to be able to login to Mynsfas. Nsfas applicants can log in to MyNsfas to obtain and manage crucial information about the National Student Financial Aid Scheme. Have you set up an NSFAS account? If you don’t have one yet, get ahead at this point by following the laid down steps to create your account.

Steps To Open MyNsfas Account
Students and NSFAS applicants should register a MyNSFAS account as soon as possible.
The steps are as follows:

  • Click on “myNsfas account” at www.nsfas.org.za.
  • Enter your e-mail address and password.
  • Select “My personal details” from the drop-down menu.
  • Make sure your telephone number and/or email address are up to date.
  • To continue, click “Update your details.”
  • You will receive a One Time Pin (OTP) to the new phone number and email address you have supplied.
  • Click Submit after entering the OTP.
  • Your information will be updated right away.
  • Your username is your email address.
  • Keep your login and password private.

Applicants should note that, once they have gained access, they can see the current status of their application. If you have a message that reads, “Provisionally Approved,” you may contact your school to ask for further assistance./Nsfas Opening Date

How do I update my account details with NSFAS?

How to make changes to your National Student Financial Aid Scheme account:

  1. Please visit nsfas.org.za and log in.
  2. Please enter your username and password (under the ‘already registered’ option) to continue.
  3. Click the ‘sign in’ button.
  4. Please go to ‘My Personal Details’ and change the inaccurate cell phone number with the right one (the same can be done with other incorrect information)

You can sign in with your username and password, as well as your Facebook and Google accounts, if you already have one. Keep in mind that your phone number and email address must be unique to you and not shared with anyone else. If you were one of the NSFAS previous candidates whose application was unsuccessful and you filed an appeal, you can check your application outcomes (nsfas status) by logging into your myNSFAS account.
