In order to log into Mynsfas, new applicants who are applying for financial aid must first create an account. Applicants for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme can use MyNsfas to get and manage important information about the program.
How To Login To Mynsfas Account
mynsfas account login steps for applying students. Kindly follow the given steps below.
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za website on your browser
- Then click the myNSFAS tab
- Click register
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify your details
- Then capture your ID number as it is stated on your ID document
- Type in your full names and surname as per your ID document
- Type in your current email address
- Confirm your email address
- Type in your cell phone number
- Create a password
- Confirm password
- Upload ID copy
- Click register
- One-Time-Pin (OTP) will be sent to the email and cell number provided (this OTP expires after 24 hours)
- Type in the OTP and click submit
- You have now completed your MyNsfas registration process
If you already have an account and are an applicant, you can log in using your username and password, as well as your Facebook and Google accounts.
How do I update my account details with NSFAS?
How to make changes to your National Student Financial Aid Scheme account:
- Please visit nsfas.org.za and log in.
- Please enter your username and password (under the ‘already registered’ option) to continue.
- Click the ‘sign in’ button.
- Please go to ‘My Personal Details’ and change the inaccurate cell phone number with the right one (the same can be done with other incorrect information)
You can sign in with your username and password, as well as your Facebook and Google accounts if you already have one. Keep in mind that your phone number and email address must be unique to you and not shared with anyone else. If you were one of the NSFAS previous candidates whose application was unsuccessful and you filed an appeal, you can check your application outcomes (nsfas status) by logging into your myNSFAS account.
