The Work:

Your main duties as a nurse on the cruise ship will be to run GP-style clinics both in the morning and in the afternoon. Nurses will also be treating a wide range of illnesses, diseases, and health issues, from cardiac arrest to sunburn. To care for patients, the candidate will need A&E or ICU experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Onboard the cruise ship, and provide routine medical treatment to the staff and passengers.
• helping with routine medical procedures
• All onboard medical crises should be treated with first aid.
• helping the onboard physicians when the clinic is open
• All non-urgent patients are receiving the nursing intervention.
• calculating and giving medication in accordance with a doctor’s orders
• completing injury and accident reports
• helping the medical professionals with procedures and therapies
• recording every nursing action and observation
• construction of treatment rooms
• maintenance and inspection of emergency equipment
• upholding predetermined standards for goods and medicines
