Duties & Responsibilities

The payroll Administrator will oversee and supervise the payroll function of the organization, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in accordance with government requirements.

Managing all payroll reports, timesheets, individual attendance and production records, and other associated documentation, as well as ensuring that all data inside the organization is up to date.

Where applicable, manage the new employee recruitment process.

  • Implement, maintain, and audit payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transaction processing.
  • Ensure the proper and timely processing of payroll adjustments such as new hires, terminations, and pay rate modifications.
  • Prepare and maintain correct payroll transaction records and reports.
  • Ensure that laws and best practices are followed.
  • Facilitate audits by providing auditors with records and documents.
  • Identify and recommend payroll processing software, systems, and procedures improvements.
  • Other responsibilities may be allocated.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Knowledge of the payroll function, including preparation, balance, internal control, and payroll taxes, is required.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior managerial and leadership abilities.
  • SAGE VIP – Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software proficiency
  • Expertise in payroll software.
  • 5+ years of experience

Experience in general accounting and administration would be advantageous.
