Procurement Manager

Introduction

To oversee the company’s supply of goods and services, we are looking for a qualified procurement manager. Best practices to lower procurement costs, for the company to invest in growth and its employees are among the responsibilities of the procurement manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch sourcing strategies
  • Establish business and organizational alliances and find profitable suppliers.
  • Obtain favorable terms by bargaining with outside merchants.
  • Accept the purchase of the required products and services.
  • Complete order and delivery details for purchases
  • Examine and evaluate current contracts
  • To cut costs and increase effectiveness, monitor and report the most important operational KPIs.
  • Work together with important individuals to make sure that the company’s requirements and expectations are understood.
  • Anticipate changes in suppliers’ and customers’ relative bargaining skills
  • Through data analysis, anticipate unfavorable situations and create control methods.
  • Implement risk management for supplier agreements and contracts.
  • Control spending and cultivate a long-term procurement cost-savings culture.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Proven job history as a head of procurement, procurement officer, or procurement manager
  • Being skilled in “reading” the market and having knowledge of sourcing and procurement methods
  • Ability to network and negotiate Well-rounded understanding of supplier or third-party management tools Ability to make decisions and work with figures
  • Strong leadership skills Data collection and analysis experience
    degree or diploma in business administration, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Professional Purchasing Manager (PPM) Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) (CPPM)
