Introduction

• The Head: Career Development Consulting (CDC) reports to the Director and is a member of the organization’s senior management team. The ideal applicant will manage the constant delivery of customized career development-related services to improve employment prospects and student performance while leading the work of the Career Development Consulting Group.

Description \sResponsibilities:

• Design and execution of high-quality, effective, and innovative career development, information services, and engagement measures tailored to students while exhibiting knowledge of the South African and global labor markets and employment trends
  Excellent contribution to the strategic leadership of the Careers Service as a member of the senior management team
  Continuous professional development and growth
  Strategic thinking
  Outstanding, accountable leadership
  Ongoing strategic consideration and relationship growth

Profile \sRequirements:

• 8 years of senior career development experience, including 5 years line managing a team of three or more individuals.
• NQF 7 in Higher Education Development, Industrial Psychology, or related qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, lead, and manage the delivery of a variety of Career Development Services, Career
• Education information, and learning resources on a large scale for hybrid student involvement.
• Understanding of worldwide Career Development practice, the modern World of Work, and labor market developments.
