The individual will answer to the HR Manager directly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recognize organizational requirements – Consult with other managers to establish personnel needs
    Creating job adverts and descriptions
    Recruiting, choosing, creating job offers, and placing
    arranging for inductions and onboarding
    Use both internal and external systems to post job openings as necessary.
    Ensure that employment equity is followed
    Organize and participate in interviewing processes as necessary.
    Create and maintain current employment and other human resources policies.
    It is your responsibility to find top-notch candidates and make sure that the headcount has been approved before hiring.
    Create innovative sourcing strategies to increase the talent pool.
    Keep your knowledge of the best recruitment and selection practices up to date.
  • Perform all administrative tasks related to the hiring process, such as collecting application forms and resumes, scheduling interviews and interview tests, distributing interview packets to candidates and panels, and shortlisting candidates.

    After contacting interviews, give them helpful feedback.
    Organize the handoff of new hires to the appropriate HR team member.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    MS Office savvy Proven work history as a recruitment officer
    superb organizational abilities, including the capacity to prioritize critical assignments
    Work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
    excellent multitasking skills
    1-3 years of experience in a related field. Any relevant HRM certifications would be advantageous.
