Duties & Responsibilities

  • a working knowledge of the SAGE VIP Premier system.
    Have a strong command of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
    Take advantage of technology, be creative and solution-focused, and assess how current process flows can be improved.
    Improve the current system for responding to different stakeholders.
    Maintain confidentiality when communicating with different stakeholders.
    Maintain all payroll information and work to maintain a paperless workplace.
Proven expertise in the creation of various payroll reports, including but not restricted to the following, that must be sent to various stakeholders during the payroll cycle.
  • All required reporting
  • Variation
  • Reconciliations o Costing

an excellent understanding of the needs of the financial team.
Understanding of accounting to manage Salary Clearing accounts
General ledger export reconciliation EMP201 and EMP501 Knowledge of SARS requirements (Tax) Able to address employee questions
Payouts to third parties

  • benchmarking for incentives,
  • commissions,
  • and salaries
  • Payroll forecasting

The capacity to effectively lead the team and have a vision for the division.
