  • The responsibility of managing all student accommodation responsibly, in accordance with university ideals, and in accordance with accepted national norms and standards falls to the Residence Services Division.
  • It is your responsibility to support the Division as needed, especially the Cluster Residence Co-ordinators with the inspections and maintenance of the Residences they are in charge of;
  • after extended absences from work, relief Residence Service Coordinators who carry out the activities in accordance with CPA;
  • upholding safety requirements in homes, buildings, and hubs.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

  • Grade 12 (Senior Certificate); Experience that has been proven relevant and achieved in settings that are similar;
  • shown interpersonal skills; compassion and a constructive outlook toward customers, staff, and pupils;
  • powerful communication abilities;
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Word (at least Outlook, Excel, and Word);
  • good organizational and management skills;
  • good dispute resolution abilities;
  • the capacity to work autonomously and be self-driven; the capacity to work diligently and efficiently manage time;
  • the capacity to behave with authority and confidence;
  • expert clientele service; and
  • a driving permit that is current.


  • Technical expertise in building maintenance; expertise and experience in occupational health and safety.
