  • The Section Engineer is a 2.13.1/2.13.3.1 or 2.14.1 and 2.13.12 appointment under the MHS Act, and their primary duty is to support the Resident Engineer’s operational needs. The position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and secure flow of people, ore, and material in the vertical, horizontal, and haulage shafts as well as the maintenance and construction activities related to the operational area of responsibility.
  • 2. Role of Work Asset maintenance, site-specific standards, and major shutdowns Legal compliance obligations -Control plant/shaft rotates -Transport personnel and supplies -Build, install, and repair mining, mechanical, and electrical equipment Budget management, shaft and plant projects, first, second, and third-line maintenance, ore and waste transportation
  • 3. Education Engineering-related Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Diploma Government Certificate of Competency
  • 4. Experience – Minimum of 7 years of experience following an engineering degree. 5. Knowledge and Skills -Proficiency in English -Basic computer literacy
