  • The person in this position is accountable for the timely and accurate operation of the payroll system, the upkeep of data security and integrity, and the provision of accurate information to all levels of management. The chosen applicant must understand how to operate the payroll system. The incumbent is required to follow all legal requirements, corporate policies, and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review the input of personnel records to determine the correct rates of pay and deductions for newly appointed employees on the payroll system. Review all payroll earnings, deductions, and company contributions. Review new and changed remuneration rates on the payroll system to ascertain validity and accuracy. Direct and review capturing of remunerative data.
  • Complete month-end reconciliations for Medical Aid, Provident Fund, Death & Disability, etc. using payroll reports obtained from third parties.
  • Ensure that all Managers receive the most recent CTC reports for use in calculating increases and decreases.
    Ensure that every one of these reports is authorized, signed, and sent back.

  • Leave Liability report in excel and pdf

  • Detailed Company Reconciliation Report

Strength report, Current, New, and Terminated Employees report, Detailed Payroll Listing Report, Summarized Payroll Listing Report, Head Count Report, and Report on Third Party Payments
