Introduction

  • For complete SHEQ control at our Logistics Warehouse operation in Johannesburg (2 sites), a SHEQ Coordinator is needed. Assure the continued efficiency of all SHEQ functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse logistics operation’s quality and safety systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Maintain the warehouse logistics operation’s certification for its quality and safety systems.
  • Plan for, get ready for, and actively take part in the internal and external quality and safety audits.
  • Track initiated actions using KPI reporting.
  • Keep the operation’s quality management system up to date.
  • Plan, carry out, and keep track of corrective and preventative measures for errors.
  • Upon project completion, conduct audits.
  • Take part in respectable discussions both internally and internationally.
  • Find, introduce, and put best practices and creative solutions into action.
  • Establish and uphold the prerequisites for regional quality systems at the warehouse logistics operation.
  • Provide guidance to operations on how to adhere to quality
  • Communicate with appropriate statutory bodies about issues with quality and safety
  • Make certain the OSH Act is applied and followed at the warehouse logistics site.
  • Adopt and uphold SHEQ goals for the relevant warehouse logistics operation.
  • Make sure the relevant warehouse logistics operation conforms with all applicable environmental, health, and safety systems and laws
  • Make sure the relevant warehouse logistics operation adheres to trends and advancements in the fields of quality, safety, health, and the environment.
  • Make that the warehouse logistics operation complies with investigations into incidents and accidents.
  • Give wise counsel on issues pertaining to caliber, safety, health, and the environment
  • Make sure the necessary committees are coordinated and function as needed.
  • Ensure that reports on safety, health, the environment, accidents, and IODs are in compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments, risk mapping, and hazardous investigation
  • Maintain IOD systems and reporting efficiently; Ensure that all legally required appointments are made in compliance with the law.

  • OHSE related qualification
  • SAMTRAC
  • Accredited Trainer
  • Accredited Assessor
  • Experience in manufacturing or warehouse logistics operations for at least five years
  • For travel between sites, a valid driver’s license
