Duties & Responsibilities

- The UJ Social Work and Community Development Department’s mission is to promote social justice and human development in an African environment. Job Description:
- Within the purview of the Department of Social Work and Community Development, the goal of this position is to teach social work at the undergraduate and clinical social work at the graduate levels.
Responsibilities:
- teach social work courses for the bachelor’s degree program.
- the Master’s program’s clinical social work lectures
- Facilitate classes for social work internships
- carry out original research and publish in reputable journals
- control graduate students
- Participate in pertinent community engagement
- Participate in administrative and academic duties consistent with an academic level
