Qualifications

B.Eng./BSc. Degree in Civil Engineering (NQF 7/8 or NQF 8/10) or M.Dip./M.Tech. A degree in Civil Engineering (NQF 7/8 or NQF 8/10) will be advantageous.

Experience & Requirements

4 years of civil engineering experience and knowledge of project management concepts
solid familiarity with the ArcelorMittal facilities
solid management abilities and knowledge of civil engineering
knowledge of environmental laws that is relevant
the capacity to comprehend engineering diagrams
good familiarity with the ArcelorMittal Drawing system
having familiarity with and proficiency with SAP
knowledge of the Construction Regulations of the OHS Act No. 85 of 1993, as well as a thorough understanding of the OHSA Act

Personal qualities

Skills in Project and Contract Management
relevant expertise and knowledge in site supervision
Ability to work as a member of an engineering team in a business-driven environment Excellent problem-solving abilities are required of candidates.
