Unisa Nsfas Application 2024-2025

Even though Unisa is a distance university, the NSFAS award is a little unique than other university bursaries.Unisa receives support from the National Science Foundation and the National Science Foundation of the United States of America. The NSFAS allowances are distributed differently to students at Unisa because their instruction differs from that of other universities. Only a Learning Materials Allowance and a Living Allowance are provided to NSFAS-supported Unisa students. The number of modules taken determines the amount of Learning Material Allowance. For the first four modules, students at Unisa will be paid R600 each module, with the remaining five to ten modules receiving a one-time payment of R5200.

Interested students in need of such financial assistance must apply to the Nsfas in other to access the support. Applicants are encouraged to apply within the stipulated time of the application and must submit their applications on time to avoid rejection by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) officials.
