Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (ZP002)

Introduction

We have an opportunity for you if you are a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with practical expertise in AWS and are seeking for your next challenge. We are searching for someone to join a team that manages infrastructure, uptime, monitoring, and all the other behind-the-scenes work for the Company’s offerings for this remote position. We’re searching for someone that thrives in a complex, fast-paced setting and isn’t afraid of a challenge.

Duties & Responsibilities

Make a plan for creating a safe and well-run enterprise environment in AWS.
Manage stability and dependability by performing specialized root cause analyses, preventive monitoring, and long-term corrective measures.
Implement and analyze service metrics, such as monitoring and alerting metrics, to drive service quality and improvements.
providing necessary training and educating teams on how to adopt new cloud-based initiatives.
regularly evaluating current systems and offering suggestions for enhancements.
Evaluate service and infrastructure consumption often to efficiently manage costs, capacity, and resources.

Essential Criteria

3+ Years of experience with AWS
Intermediate Linux experience ubuntu/Debian
Extensive experience with Windows
Networking experience

Required Experience

if there is no formal education, relevant IT experience
Associate level AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent experience
observing devices (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic)
AWS cloud infrastructure building and management experience with the following skills R53 – DNS public/private, S3 AMI, IAM, AWS Back UP, RDS, Dynamodb, Elasticache, DMS, Directory service/AD management/DNS, API Gateway, Cloudfront, EC2, ECS – Fargate, VPC – security groups, VPN, Natting, peering.
Templates for cloud formation/CDK Understanding of certificate management, IIS, and Linux. Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD experience advantageous.
